Fantastic customer service after a long morning looking for skirting board more than 150mm tall! Wickes was the only store in Longwell Green to stock a bull nose skirting board of the height we needed to cover some pipes. Unfortunately, they only stocked 3.6m lengths, too long for my car and they no longer cut down wood themselves for health and safety reasons. However, having asked for some excellent customer service, the young man who served me found the right piece of wood, took out the one length needed and helped me find a cheap saw. He then accompanied me to the car park where I cut the piece of wood so that it would fit into my car. He was personable and helpful and I can recommend the service at this store because of him. Thank you!
