We try bubble teas all around Bristol.
Mooboo's tea was pretty good. We got a caramel milk tea (warm) and the normal milk tea (warm) and it was very good. The quality was fresh and we didn't notice and strong powder or syrup flavours.
This was the only shop till now that they let us know when ordering that their tapiocas are fresh and they would take around 7 minutes to be made; that wait was worth it!
Brown sugar milk tea is my go-to for a new place to scope out their quality. Mooboo’s is very milky. Perhaps I could’ve ordered a higher sugar level (25% is what I asked for) so I can enjoy it more! In this cold weather, ice is not necessary. On my second time, I pushed the boat out to try a salted cream cap beverage! I believe it to be a well made drink, the creamy cheese was ample and had a good saltiness. I wish they had a different lid to drink with though. There’s just one person behind the counter when we went on both occasions - please be patient. He was kind and made our drinks efficiently. I noticed powder is used for some drinks which is common nowadays. I try to avoid these flavours or limit the frequency i.e. taro. Price is up to £4.50, toppings dependent.
Had Snow White boba with tapioca and lychee popping bubbles. It was coconut-y, milky, really nice! Never had this kind of flavor before so it was a pleasant surprise. The staff(owner? I’m not sure) was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. I will definitely come again.
