This location is pretty good. Very spacious. Great outdoor patio area.
Lots of plugs for doing work on laptop.
The best part is the wifi. We've been having terrible trouble with the wifi in other locations.
Here we only had to sign on once and it stayed connected for 3 hours with no problems and was fast enough to stream HD video
Usually 10mbps plus
EDIT: Wifi is being throttled down to much lower speeds now.
If you feel like having a good coffee on the go Starbucks is the one. It has a good and tasty variety of coffees, sandwiches and cakes. But if you feel like sitting in and having a cuppa, it is better to avoid Saturdays and Sundays.
It is very busy in the weekends (but also in the week) and I found that there is not enough staff to clean the tables.
Otherwise the atmosphere is lovely, very homely feeling, nice place to socialise.
The café is placed at the first floor and it has glass walls, next to which you can sit and watch the lively streets.
Not much difference between Starbucks branches so service is key and the girls who dealt with us today were brilliant. A nice hot drink is a rare treat around bristol for anyone who's lactose intolerant so Starbucks soya range is a saviour. Completely dairy free hot and sweet is just what's needed on a cold grey day and served with an attentive smile is a bonus. The service is very quick but not rushed and the drinks still very hot and enjoyable. Lots of seating areas in this branch to watch over all the shoppers below which is nice in the busy centre. It's out the way so never a big queue like the other branch and a better menu than costa. 10/10.
