Sourdough Cafe

A very nice little market store food outlet. Low and slow cook all their meats onsite overnight, (16hrs) giving you the best quality and freshness possible. The menu is quite simple, and portion size is perfect. We walked about 15 mins from where we were to get here as it was recommended by a friend, and he wasn't wrong. It was well worth the effort.

What a place and what food! Travelling from Cheltenham just to get this and my god it doesn't dissapoint, I ordered the ultimate BBQ box with added burnt ends and chicken thighs, first the mac and cheese was great I would want more cheese to be honest but as a side note to the main event it was great, beef brisket that melts apart in your mouth so juicy and packed full of flavour wow, then onto pulled pork the best I've had hands down game changer! Fries were sat underneath all of this meat madness and soaked up all the juices but stayed crisp again wow, then to top it all off, pickle Mayo and house BBQ sauce I could of drank it! 10/10 will be going again and the staff were brilliant up sold me on everything and I'm not even mad! Oh boy, what a lunch. The lunch queue is 20m long but I got their BBQ box and it was absolutely delicious. Note that there's salad included but it's not much especially considering the ratio of meat. The portion was so big I ate it for lunch and dinner! Don't book any important meetings afterwards, you'll have the meat sweats.

Spiritual experience. The queue for lunch was massive but we stood in it anyway and were not disappointed. I had the barbeque box, chips and pit beans and it was all great. The meat was amazing, all succulent and very much falling apart in your mouth. It's strictly a take out business but we took our food to the riverside and it was a lovely afternoon altogether.
