The architecture is undeniably breathtaking, and the church exudes a sense of tradition, spirituality, and peace. No entrance fee and we are allowed to take photos.
Bristol Cathedral is one of the finest examples in the world of a medieval hall church, where the vaulted ceiling in the Nave, Quire and Aisles are all at the same height, creating a light and airy space with a series of elegant arches. Splendid architecture.
It has always been a living place of sanctuary, teaching, prayer and music right in the heart of the city. Must not be missed, indeed.
