Desi is a cool interesting restaurant which combines traditional Indian food with Spanish tapas, the taste from India, size from Spain. This idea works flawlessly when you combine it with the extremely low prices (£70 for a meal for 5) which allows you to just keep going back for more. The décor is really unique and gives off a retro Indian vibe. The food is nice and filling and tastes very fresh; the capacity is quite small so you should try and book, but overall very recommended👍

My friend and I visited here about 2 weeks ago. I had been meaning to leave a review because this place was one of the best meals I had when I visited England. The food is amazing and very affordable. I believe the owner was also our waiter-- I could be wrong but who ever served us was one of the kindest gentlemen we met over there. He made us feel so welcome. If I ever come back to visit, I would definitely eat here again.

Came here on a whim the other night. What lovely warm friendly staff and very tasty food. I like the small tapas sized portions as it leaves room for the yummiest Rose flavoured Kulfi I ever tasted, Indian sweets and a cocktail for my friend. Even the rice was delicious. Would be 5 stars but you still give out plastic straws, naughty.
