Really good coffee shop. I generally am not a super big fan of coffee but the morning I went here I needed some of it just to keep going on with the day and the Cappuccino was really nice and the oke thing that was amazing was the ham and cheddar croissant.
The cheese was outside melted and it was a good slice of ham inside which was really tasty. I loved the way their croissants are as I feel like the nailed what a croissant should be with a very very crispy outside and the insides are soft and creamy.
I look forward to coming back to Bristol just to get a croissant from here.
The coffee shop is very clean, organized and it also has a open kitchen view at the end of the shop so you can see their patissiers making their croissants, cakes, etc which is really cool.
Absolutely 10/10 ham & cheese croissant, maple & pecan and almond croissants and coffees (inc decaf). Some quotes from my friend “I would come back to Bristol just for these croissants” “I don’t think you would find as good even in Paris”. Only warning is they are VERY big and v sweet so would suggest sharing as I felt v sick All day after hahah. Lots of seats inside and out and a really nice harbourside location - please come to London! Oh a warning they have very persistent pigeons outside so if you hate pigeons eat inside or take them away! Not sure how much things were individually but cost £22 for 3 croissants and 2 coffees
To me, Mokoko has the best pastries in town. I take all my friends here when they visit and they all agree the croissants are second to none. They are a little on the expensive side, and they have become smaller over the past year, but the pasty and filling both are amazing and totally worth it!
The place can be busy and they only have a few tables, so going at less popular times is best.
