Favourite restaurant in Bristol. I’m a student and it is great value for money. I’ve been there many many many times and it never disappoints. Would recommend the Arancini, meatballs (polpete) and Tagliata con Rucula. And any pizza is incredible. My favourite is the Emilia romagna
Book a table if you are dining in the evening, as it gets very busy!
The menu is mostly pizza, with a few pasta , salad and meat dishes to choose from. The drinks menu is mostly wine, with maybe 4 cocktails.
The food was excellent! Pizza was cooked perfectly, the dough was thin and the crusts thick and crispy! I would recommend the zeppole for dessert (donuts served with a lemon and a creamy sauce to dip) - I would go back just for these!!!
We sat at the open kitchen and it was really entertaining watching the staff prepare the dishes. Our wait time for the pizza was probably almost an hour, although we did arrive shortly after some large groups and watching the kitchen cooking we did not mind.
Tip: definitely ask for a table at the open kitchen!
Reliable. Have been coming here for nearly 7 years, and the food is always great.
Nice spot for lunch, but definitely book for dinner and wear layers - it can get pretty hot.
Fresh tiramisu - first piece from the tray. 😋
One of my favourite pizzerias in Bristol. Deliciously charred crusts that add a slight depth of sweetness to the pizzas. Speaking of which, I recommend the Ventricina, with its savoury/sweet combo of salami, chilli oil and honey!
Everything is perfect about this place! Fantastic pizza, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Definitely the best pizza in Bristol and a place to return.
Super impressed with this restaurant. The food is fantastic - all the starters, the pizzas are incredible and desserts are fun! Drinks are great too. The service was a touch slow probably due to being very busy on the Saturday evening but that didn’t take away from a well priced , great evening. Thanks
Food excellent. Knocked a star off as I asked for my pizza to take away and mentioned I would be eating it on the drive home. This was made impossible by the simple fact that it wasnt sliced. I'm all for not slicing pizza normally but my request was specific
12.5% service charge which is actually discretionary though this is not clear on the bill, it does state it’s discretionary however at the bottom of the menu. Why can’t the staff wages just be increased and hidden within overall cost? Genuine question.
Amazing food and staff, service is quick, attentive, but not overly so. Great atmosphere and fairly priced for the fantastic standard of food.
I find Bosco to be consistently fantastic! Recently went with a party of 10. The food was delicious and came out at the same time, all this achieved in an already packed restaurant! Really high quality ingredients.
A great experience at Bosco! I've only been to the Bosco in Clifton a few years ago before but heard great things since. I ordered the bruschetta with nduja and straciatelli (I think)? It was good, but the cheese a bit too plain for my liking I think. Not their fault. For my main, I got the pork Milanese. It was on the large plates menu, but I really fancied it! It was amazing!! Pasta sauce perfectly seasoned, fried pork on the side was freshly fried, nicely seasoned and you could add lemon which definitely elevated the flavour. That dish on its own was a 10/10. My partner got a carbonara, which he is picky about, and he said it was too cooked for his liking, and that the egg had started to scramble. However, another member of our party got the same dish and loved it. So, I think the dish depends on how high your carbonara standards are. The waiters were lovely. Service for our cocktails after dinner was a little bit slow, it was busy and they had a queue of cocktails, that can be forgiven.
Overall, I'd highly recommend. A great place for a celebratory meal with family or friends. Thanks for a great night!
The Pizzeria was extremely busy - we hadn't made a reservation, but we're quickly seated and served. Great atmosphere with the wall / window to the street open allowing a view of what was passing outside and loads of fresh air on a warm summer day.

We rocked up at 3.15pm for lunch and they didn’t bat an eyelid. Charming and friendly staff here. I had a very good pizza with anchovies and my husband’s 2 course deal was excellent value. I managed to photograph the arancini but we were too hungry to photograph the carbonara and pizza. Oh well, I recommend this place for a late lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing pizza as always!
Lovely attentive staff, especially given the extreme high temperatures at the time.
Thanks and we'll done to you all. 😃
Perfect for a late lunch, the pizzas are excellent, the perfect combination of crispy, blistered crust and slightly doughy middle. I generally order the Venetian so I don’t have to share with my wife as she hates anchovies! Build your own cheese and meat plates are a nice idea too, the fennel salami is a thing of wonder. Short, well-priced wine list. Exactly the sort of good quality neighbourhood restaurant we all want.
Bosco has a fantastic, warm and rustic atmosphere with an open kitchen and a fire pizza oven. The menu is varied and the food was great, however was missing signature flavours and felt "could cook it at home". The drinks menu was the biggest menu, focussing mostly on wine and a very limited one-sided cocktail selection. We requested some classics, which they couldn't do, and ended up ordering a sweet version of the White Lady cocktail which we actually really enjoyed.
The chef in the open kitchen served us directly and was really lovely and it was great watching the kitchen staff prepare our dishes. My recommendation: Definitely ask for a table at the open kitchen when you're coming in!
One of our favourite places to eat in Bristol. We bring all our visitors here. It’s so good and we’ve tried almost everything on the menu now. The arancini are the best.
My go-to when I'm in Bristol. I go out of my way to go to Bosco when I'm in town- great service and delicious food. Bosco Negronis are an absolute winner. Solid wine list too, including a dessert wine which is just how I love to finish a meal- although my partner had the tiramisu which I gleefully nabbed a spoonful of.
Nice restaurant, their pizza is really amazing, the ingredients they use are quite good. They have some Italian food which you can’t find easily. If you want a real Italian pizza, this is the right place!
However, I tried to call them several times to order or book a table and they never answer.
