Rocked up to this fine establishment this morning with a powerful hangover and a hankering for sustenance. Was greeted heartily by the staff and a backdrop of smooth unobtrusive jazz, and ordered the burnt ends hash for breakfast. An astounding assembly of smoked meat, smoked potatoes and cabbage, BBQ sauce, red onion, and baked eggs arrived in a piping hot skillet, accompanied by a delicious garlic and ginger homemade hot sauce. I ordered extra bacon, which was firm and flavoursome, and sourdough toast that made for a robust and pleasingly crunchy edible hash scoop. It was glorious. All of it. Wanted to order it all over again, and was only prevented from doing so by my goal of attempting to drop a trouser size ahead of my wedding in a few months' time. If I could eat this all day I would. Will be back to sample more delights the next time I'm in Brighton for sure.
Also cured my hangover.
Having visited for drinks once before, I decided to try out the brunch The Bronze was offering for the first time today. I had the granola and a coffee to start, and then the Burnt Ends Hash, with their Kimchi Bloody Mary. All the food was fantastic and left me perfectly full, and the cocktails had a nice kick to them too. Would highly recommend the brunch anyone else, and evening drinks too. I am yet to try their normal menu but am looking forward to it!
Visited months back during Oktoberfest and they were one of the few bars in the area celebrating the festival! Serving German food and beers such as Paulaner, Lowenbrau and Hofbrau. Nice ambience and music, with lovely staff. It was well-spaced out and not crowded at all.
