Better than would have expected for a pub so close to the station. Staff were polite and the interior is quite nice. Not too busy midweek either
Not too bad. It has all the qualities of a basic pub: beer, light, heat, one-armed-bandits, TV; and the staff are friendly.
But it feels a bit seedy.
What makes this pub great (almost) is its location; it's right opposite Brighton station so it's an ideal to sit and wait for your date (who is, in my case, late).
And it's not costing me anything as I'm just having a glass of water.
All in all a very useful location and, as a wise man once said, the key to a successful retail business is location, location and location.
