We were on our way to another Lebanese restaurant when we spotted Al Rouche and were attracted by the very reasonable price of their wine. After eating there on our first night we ate there again on our third and last night. Service was friendly and efficient. The food did not arrive immediately with a reasonable break between starters and mains which we prefer. The set menu is very good value with a large mixed meze and then a choice of three main courses with tea or coffee. The bread stuffed with meat and the pureed aubergine were particularly good. When we visited again we were keen to try more of the small plates so ordered two lots of starters. All delicious. Excellent value for money. We will return when next in Brighton and would recommend

My favorite restaurant when in Brighton. The Falafel and Hummus are highly recommended. Prices are moderate. The owner is always very hospitable. If you behave he’ll offer you coffee on the house ;-)

Kleines, aber von außen unscheinbares Lokal. Die Speisekarte ist top. Ein Querschnitt der libanesischen Küche. Sehr gute libanesische Weine. Meine Vorspeisenplatte war delikat, die optisch top und super frisch. Halt ein Familienbetrieb. Zu den Waschräumen führt eine steile Treppe. Preislich noch akzeptabel. Ich komme gerne wieder. My starter platter was delicate, visually great and super fresh. Just a family business. A steep staircase leads to the washrooms. The price is still acceptable. I will gladly come again.
