What a great find.
Stayed in Brighton with my husband for a long weekend.
Went in on the afternoon and them went back in the following evening, the entertainment was great and all the staff so friendly.
Will definitely be back on our next visit.

Best bar in Brighton. Discovered it on my first day of a week long visit and after visiting several other places, I would find myself back at the Marine Tavern. Friendly staff and customers. Reasonable prices.

It was a lovely cosy place that was warm and inviting with a very friendly barman who welcomed our dog and even gave him a blanket to sit on and some treats to eat.
There is a good selection of drinks, including some very tasty rums we'd never had before, and our friends enjoyed lagers they had not tried before as well.
In all our visits to Brighton, we had never been to The Marine Tavern before. This is an oversight that will not be repeated again and we look forward to returning.

There is no food. Bartender is very friendly. Lives up to the smallest LGBT bar. With good drinks

Lovely little place that I've been going to on and off for years. The staff are professional and helpful and you can go in on your own and chat to someone.
Unfortunately the hole in the ceiling at the back let's the place down.

Decent pub and our second stop into town on mini pub crawl last Saturday. Not a huge number of tables because it’s quite a small place but we found one for the four of us at the back. Was frequented mainly by locals who knew each other. Cozy atmosphere but we only stayed for one. Loved the “Soup of the day: Gin” sign, made us chuckle. A nice friendly place for a pint, would happily return next time we’re in Brighton.
