I was a day visitor, so I can not comment on bedrooms, but the conference room that we used was very comfortable, with refreshments.
One thing to watch out for is their parking. You MUST put your vehicle registration into their computer as soon as possible. I went to make a query, (on a different day) and because I'm disabled & there was not a free disability bay, it took me just over 22 minutes to walk up, make enquiry, and walk back to my car. 10 days later, I received a parking fine of £100.
This was voided by the management, which was good of them, but I just thought I'd give a heads up.
Stayed overnight for an event. Booking in was simple, our room was lovely, great view out to fields, the bathroom was very modern, with shower gel/shampoo provided. Tea/coffee also supplied. The evening event with the food arriving to each table precise and timely. The menu was delicious.
Our only gripes were the room was very cold upon arrival and with the curtains shut the heat did not get into the room easily.
Stayed for 2 nights on 13th March with my daughter and her 2 kids, 22mths and 4 yr old. The staff knew it was my daughter's birthday on our arrival, they put balloons and a card in the room and gift bags for the kids, a very nice touch. They also gave her a free birthday dessert. Food was lovely, kids portions quite big and kids ate free which was a bonus. Room was very warm at night and radiators were off..We got free swimming included too. Staff were so nice and couldnt do enough for us..only downside was that there wasnt a lift but someone took our bags up for us. We will definitely stay again, excellent location for Ponderosa Zoo and Eureka (15 mins either side of the hotel)
