We are at the chippy with outdoor seating. We ordered from an efficient but not overly outgoing lady on the counter. Drinks are self service out of the fridge sort of behind the counter which felt strange. You get a beeper to tell you when your order is ready.
The food was good the light bite cod was mostly demolished by my toddler and it was a good size but for an adult lunch. My Dad had the scampi and it was nice maybe a little over done but not bad. Chips were great.
Came back for the restaurant and it was great. I had the Lobster Thermidor, half a lobster was £28 and whole lobster was £48 (Mid September '23) it was amazing. I also had the Popcorn Scallops for starter, I really enjoyed those too, they tasted nice and fresh and our Toddler enjoyed the 'fish nuggets' too! As others have said the restaurant is nice but the toilets need renovating, not dirty but not in keeping with the upmarket feel they are going with.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch here and everyone really enjoyed it.
Food was excellent, and well presented.
Lovely views of the harbour as we were enjoying our meal.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
This was our 2nd visit and would like to return.
On the quieter side of the harbour, it was an interesting place with fine dining upstairs and a bar/cafe/takeaway downstairs. Bridlington is the lobster capital of the UK, and we tried it. It was as any lobster should be and presented well. Service was good, staff friendly, and the interior was nice. The harbour view was great. Slightly expensive because of fine dining experience.
