The Bay View Cafe on the top floor of Boyes is a charming place to eat.
The menu is small and the food is nice.
Nothing about it is overly exciting.
There is a lift to all floors.
The toilets were handy but, on the day we visited, the gent's toilet was out of order. Also, given that it was extremely quiet when we called, there was a 20 minute wait for the food.
Any other, similar, cafe would only get 3 stars.
But...
The views are spectacular!
Love this place - the last of the good old British Department Store era - Staff are always very friendly and helpful - Could do with 1 in every Town and City. 👏👏👏
