All the curries we ordered were executed very well. Loved the aloo gobi, nicely spiced. We were not happy with the kulcha bread, was doughy, not sure how it was made ? not in a tandoor, I doubt as there was no crunch to it, a bit like supermarket bread. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday night
As a vegetarian, Indian food is always a popular choice. We were visiting Bridlington and chose this restaurant for a night out. We thought the food was heavenly and delicious. Portions were generous and very flavourful. In terms of service, the waiter was friendly, perhaps a little too forward, but that was clearly management directed. Here in England it helps to be reserved, since that is the default engagement level of most Brits. I'm not British and even I know that! The restaurant was not as full as it could be, but I believe that is due to unfair reviews. The cook is clearly talented. Please note we chose plant based curries, garlic naans, some condiments, and side pickles. We did not order meat based or deep fried products. Excellent, and I hope it can become a firm establishment.
For price the food is excellent and the staff are very welcoming and friendly 😀 we had chicken korma, lamb tikka masala, two sizzler started nan and onion rice. Will be going again next time a come to Bridlington.
