Loved the stop here in the middle of a long walk.
The owners had their patrons best interests at heart by luring all the wasps to a little "feeding station" with jam or some other sweet treats, so they mostly stayed away from the outdoor tables.
We had only a tea and a coffee, so can't comment in the food. It looked like a great tea menu with cream tea and loads of other tummy cakes, including gluten free and vegan.
A delightful little outdoor space for tired legs.
There is only 1 single toilet outside the main building, so could find a small queue.
A wonderfully quaint little tea room run by a (couple?) from their own back garden, which they’ve obviously converted into a stunning outside area with plenty of tables under shade. Everything is homemade and tastes delicious. We had scones, tea, apple juice and ginger cake. Can’t fault any of it. The garden is well kept and has beautiful flowers. Menu and prices clearly shown and payment can be made by card/contactless. So glad I came across it via Google Maps because it is tucked away. Love to help out an independent business. Didn’t speak to the lady but the man and their waitress were both very polite and friendly. Definitely recommend!
Lovely location! And really liked the quaintness of this venue. Seems really popular for walkers, cyclists, tourists, children, older people - everyone welcome! Price for a cream tea is a little steep I have to say!
