Best meal out I've had in ages, absolutely beautiful! Very dog friendly too, in the bar area. Had the slow roast pork rib from the specials board and Brioche and butter pudding, both were amazing!

One of the best pubs I've been to in England! A nice and cosy ambient, with great staff and excellent food. We had the Sunday roast (pork belly) and it was delicious. And so was the desert. We table was just by the fireplace, which was very much welcome on a cold and rainy Sunday. Will be coming back!

It’s been a long time since I visited a restaurant and came away as happy as I did tonight. Absolutely delightful! The stunning food, the lovely staff and the wonderful exposed beam dining rooms. The black pudding scotch egg, belly pork and brioche pudding can only be described as fine dining. Thanks again and we’ll be back soon.

Really enjoyed coming here after hearing good things. Staff were great and very knowledgeable on food allergies and were really attentive all night. Food was really good and a good drinks menu too! Just what the high street needed! Definitely going back!

Wonderful Sunday Roast in a charming old pub, in the centre of the picturesque town of Bridgnorth. Both the beef and lamb roast were delicious and the gravy was absolute perfection. Would definitely visit again and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A nice little gem in a beautiful town.

This place is exceptional!! We walked in on Saturday 30th October and were lucky to get the last table. Our table was by the open fire which was lovely and cosy. The staff here are just wonderful! So friendly and welcoming and constantly checking on you to make sure everything is ok. The food was delicious, we had the pumpkin soup, scotch eggs and chicken sandwich. It was all such good value for money and big portions! The coffee they serve is also delicious. We honestly could not fault this place whatsoever. We were so content we didn't want to leave! This is a true gem in a wonderful little town and we will certainly be returning next time we are in the area. Highly highly recommend, you will not regret it! 😁🤤😋👏🏻

hHad a lovely meal at The Royle tonight. Never been before, Googled good food Bridgnorth !!! Wasn't disappointed. Will visit again. Nice menu, not massive, however a nice selection of specials....duck, fish, prawns etc., Atmosphere nice, very bistro type venue. Staff really polite. Food - nicest pub/bistro meal I have had in the UK for a while. We will be by back 😁

Don't eat out very often, so expectations are high, and the Royle always delivers. Food hot, very tasty, service is second to none, and the beers finish the evening off on a high note. Highly recommended.

We are always on the lookout for the perfect Sunday roast and we finally found one that ticks every box. 10 out of 10 for the Sunday roast, was delicious, fresh, piping hot, the veg was lovely the roast potatoes crispy and delicious the chicken was delicious with crispy skin. Delicious vegan options, the vegan lemon cheesecake desert was moreish and very flavoursome. Coffees and teas were nice and vegan milk options available. The settings inside are really nice and the staff are all lovely and very helpful. Thank you

Having been fortunate enough to dine in some of Europe's best restaurants this year, it's such a pleasure to find excellent cuisine in a market town. The food is mainly traditional British cuisine, but executed to perfection. The crab and scallops, obviously landed the same morning, ended up on our plate. The half duck and other meats came from local suppliers, and it shows. The chef and the service, however, made our meal. They aren’t trying to do something fancy for the sake of it, but any of these dishes could be on a tasting menu at a Michelin-starred restaurant, albeit with more courses, so you don’t have to worry about the portions. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but credit where credit is due.
