From the moment we walked into the pub to the moment we left we where greeted by a friendly and welcoming team. Who where second to none and could not be faulted . The pub was a cozy and full of character and with a large beer garden at the heart of the pub . With a great selection of Ales, beers and ciders on offer. The food was beautiful and freshly cooked on site and with a generous portion. As well as an absolutely Bostin pie. Would highly recommend it.

Really cosy pub. Lovely original features. The staff were really nice and friendly and we were also made to feel welcome by the locals. Great beer and the food was also lovely. I had the steak pie and chips (the chips were amazing...crisp on the outside and like fluffy clouds in the middle) and my partner had the burger and chips. Highly recommended.

I've been visiting Bridgnoth to see a friend. I've asked him after our meeting to recommend me a restaurant and he mentioned to pass by to this location as they are my style. A nice lady welcomed us, put up on a table - as mostly they ware reserved and we ordered some food. Inside was well decorated, warm, friendly staff and the atmosphere was alright to my tastes, and especially it wasn't a very loud location. Food came quickly, it was freshly made and well organised on the plate. Thank you having us guys 💫 Sorry for being on my Roller Skates 😊

Fantastic find in the heart of Bridgnorth high town. I had googled "great food, dog friendly" and this place didn't disappoint. The staff were super friendly and very friendly to our dog, bringing her a bowl of water (even though they were very busy). My Dad and I had the steak and ale pie (which was delicious) and my Mom and the prawns (starter) which she loved. My Partner had the burger which he enjoyed too. Its table service in the pub, which was great as we were able to order from the comfort of our table. Its definitely a good idea to book as this is a very popular place. The only tricky thing is to find parking. There's two good size public car parks within about 10 mins walk but as we visited on market day both car parks were very full.

A lovely pub, carefully restored by Joules brewery, hearty meals served with a good choice of beers, there are historical prints on the walls, and a welcoming log burner in the main bar area, a mix of drinking areas nicely break up the layout of the pub.

Beautiful old pub, lots of character and history, staff are lovely, food is amazing, the atmosphere was a little too loud to be comfortable with especially if you have special needs, but it's not always like this, week days are quieter, I really enjoy coming here, will most definitely keep coming back. Prices are reasonable too.

Very nice joules pub in upper Bridgnorth. Several joules ales and a guest on when I visited. It’s a joules so expect snugs and beams etc. friendly staff and regulars. Large outside area. Recommended for a pint 🍺

Lovely pub that we dropped into for lunch recently and which I realised I'd last visited 41 years ago! The bar and waiting staff were really friendly and the food quality was as good as I've eaten anywhere over the last few years, was well cooked and well presented. Even though the place started getting busy with the lunchtime rush at no point were we made to feel like we had to move on. Also got to mention the Joules beers - their pale ale went down too smoothly. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic. Dog friendly, cracking food ( including gluten free choices) and a good selection of cider and wine. Thoroughly recommended.
