The White Horse is a popular pub in this part of North Norfolk - in the summer you'll probably struggle to get a table. It's got a big deck which has fantastic views out to the ocean. The bar menu is decent. They're trying to do something a bit modern here, and it *sort of* works. Sides come in mugs. Food comes on wooden boards. It's not bad. and it's a fairly cosy, cheerful place so you could do worse.
This place has got so much right you want to ring the style council and start clapping. Just incredible service. They’ve been trained to smile with authenticity and think about the customer. The food is upper quartile across every course but in incredible and relaxing surroundings. A treat for every and any occasion. Hats off all round. You don’t get too many of these in a lifetime. Enjoy it.
I adjust my review after the Staff did as much as they could to resolve my observation relation to extractor fan noise. They were kind enough to offer us an alternative room, even for one night out of our three, but from my perspective to wasn’t any better, although it was still a lovely room. If you are a light sleep like me, you may want to consider ear plugs but I have been assured that the extractor fan system is switch off after 2300hrs, which was the case last night. Thank you to the staff for trying to address the issue as there wasnt much more they could do. I would just ask that they consider referencing it on arrival but reassure customers that it is switch off around 2300hrs . Thank you to the main desk staff once again.
