The look and feel of the restaurant is quite traditional, with the food on offer being somewhat limited. The food tasted okay, with some dishes being better than others. The steak was cooked to my liking, however the triple cooked chips left a lot to be desired. The appetiser and desert were both tasty. Service was a bit slow for the restaurant not being very busy, and it was obvious that the servers were seasonal hires. Overall a decent option in the local area.
The best carvery lunch that I've had in a very long time. I don't often take pictures of my food, but I did that day. Excellent food and service.
It is a very nice place to eat and drink. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they do a very professional job. The carvery food is lovely and plenty of it. Starters are self serve as are the puddings, these are very tempting and you leave full up. Great for families too. Best to book, just in case as it's popular.
