I like to browse a decent wool shop and this one's great. It has a huge variety not just knitting and crochet but for other craft projects too. It's a shame the cafe isn't open as I could have a break during my visit too.
When I went on Saturday the usual woman wasn't on and the lady standing in didn't know an awful lot about the stock, patterns etc, which was a shame.
There's a great space above too full of coats, winter garbs, a real walkers paradise. I believe they run craft workshop occasionally too.
A lovely warm welcome as we entered this small, characterful & popular cafe.
We had a breakfast sandwich in ciabatta bread which was delicious 😋 but all the food being brought out looked first class.
The coffee was great quality too.
We will be back.
My wife likes to buy her knitting wool from here. We have been going here for sometime. They also sell hiking gear boots, jackets,backpacks etc. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a look.
