Very friendly helpful staff great food and beer, we had a big room with a huge bathroom, a really terrific pub. Lovely views thoroughly recommend it.

The staff at The Castle Inn make you feel completely at home, they are so friendly and thoughtful. Atmospheric bar, fun people, great food and drinks. One small request - better bedside lights for readers. We loved our stay. Great view from room 3 too. Wish it had snowed harder and we had been trapped. We'll be back :-)

Stayed at Castle Inn last night beautiful room with lovely ensuite, fabulous Bramley products to use. Loved the loose leaf tea and the cafetiere in the room with great coffee. Very comfortable large bed and great flat screen tv. We could hear noise but as soon as the pub shut it all went quiet. Fantastic meal in the bar and superb choice of gin. This morning excellent breakfast with papers to read, choice of fruit juices and great coffee again. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pub itself is beautiful with an attractive garden and great views.
