Best flapjack and bubble gum ice cream ever! The best thing about this place is the staff though. They went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming, even putting the flapjack to one side for us on a busy Good Friday for our return visit!
Reasonable prices, not the poshest joint in town but really does what you need. Full belly, well rested and ready to go. Fish chips, peas, bread and a pot of tea. £11.50
Coffee and a scone up the road £12
So this is spot on.
Blink and you will miss it, a little white door where you book on the boat trips.
Ice-creams were good but not a huge variety of flavours. Very traditional service by a lovely man. Loved the customer service but the ice-creams could have been better but I still enjoyed it though.
I'm pretty sure this building's original business was called Lewis's Coffee Shop, so it has some good history.
Toilets were good but needed a key to enter for security reasons so people don't damage it.
Happy to come here again to have good food and more importantly feel welcomed in a lovely small business with an even more lovely owner.
