Situated in the charming Burton on the Water, this cafe is an ideal spot for breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, complete with ambient lighting that adds to the authentic old-English cafe vibe. The staff is not only friendly but also attentive.
The menu offers a good range of options at reasonable prices. I opted for the fish and chips, which I’d rate a 6.5 out of 10. One drawback was the cleanliness of the utensils, prompting me to eat with my hands instead.
Overall, this is a cozy establishment where you can enjoy quality time in a comfortable setting.
Had some lunch here which was quite nice. Some dirty fries and cream tea - the scone was massive! Portions and price was okay. I liked the decorations, which we sat upstairs because it was quieter but it was quite cold upstairs so maybe not.
Beautifully located next to the rear but very busy
We managed to get a table inside. The staff were great. The food was very basic but enjoyable.
I ordered pull pork along with cream tea and a can off Coke . Place had a nice atmosphere & would certainly recommend 👍
