This place really takes you back to the old school Hong Kong diners,. It doesn't look much but it's just oozing authenticity. The service was really friendly and fast. We head dim sum. The food was generally quite good with a couple of dishes missing the mark. The highlight for me was definitely the chicken feet and spare rib rice. Basically a clay pot rice and it was delicious! Their turnip cake was also really tasty, although it was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall a good experience and I would come back here again
Fantastic food and warm welcoming atmosphere. I was on my own but felt so welcomed and comforted here! Ordered the beef ho fun based on other recommendations and wow, it was so good! Thank you 😊
We stumbled upon this place on our holiday to Bournemouth, and I am so delighted. I was raised in Hong Kong, and it's very hard to find authentic tasting food outside of a really good China Town or those restaurants attached to big Chinese supermarkets. This food was awesome. The rice and mostly the noodles. The roast pork (cha siu) was not bad, but the beef ho fun was epic.
If we weren't leaving today, I'd be back there for dinner tonight to try something else.
We went early and I was a bit worried it was empty but soon people arrived and all those who sat down were Chinese too....that's a great sign of great food!
