I cannot recommend highly enough!
Last night myself, my partner and my parents had a spontaneous meal out, and it was absolutely superb! For a Monday night, it was heaving, so that says it all!
The new menu is great and the food we ordered was excellent and so well presented, the setting was beautiful (we were lucky enough to get a table in the conservatory) and most importantly the staff were amazing. I have not had such good service in a long time. Holly and Freddie waited on our table and they were not only helpful, attentive and professional but they were hilarious! It’s so refreshing to have waiting staff with such personality, it really made our evening.
I think the refurb was the best thing that could have happened to this place and we will certainly become regulars now! I am delighted to have such a lovely place on my doorstep.

We went to the Riverside last night,really thought the place was great,such a good location for a decent restaurant and bar,I thought the menu was good with lots of lovely choices,both food and drinks,its hard to choose!
Food was good,service very good,lovely decor and views of the river we sat in the conservatory area overlooking the river.
Will definitely return and recommend to our family and friends!
Absolutely perfect. The staff, the food, the view, how they’ve refurbished the site. There is such a positive atmosphere amongst the staff and their determination to meet everybody’s needs is clearly an important aspect to the business. I can’t wait to come back. The lunch deal is a winner with a wide range of delicious dishes to suit everybody’s palette. The drinks I felt reasonably priced if anything, on par with competition. 2 for £10 on cocktails 12-7 Monday to Friday is awesome!!! Holly, our waitress, was so well informed about what food was/ wasn’t available so communication is very good between chef and staff. Thank you everyone. Keep up the good work.
