Amazing welcoming staff, really friendly, very helpful, they let us borrow their phone due to a lack of reception. Let us get cold drinks despite being technically closed. Overall, really helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
We got 2 ice creams, 2 cold drinks and a hot chocolate for only £5.
People complain about the £15 to park, this is a part of Bolton Abbey, every car park is £15 to park if you're going on one of the walks. Unfortunately, this isn't the tea rooms fault, and there isn't anything they can do about this. In terms of a place yo dispose of rubbish, there is a bin outside the tea room near the door.
Hope this info helps!

Very friendly staff in a lovely, quiet location. Staff were chatty and interested in what I was up to. The food and coffee was good and at a fair price. The next time I visit The Strid, I know where I'll be stopping for lunch!
No idea about food we only stopped to use the toilet only to realise it was part of Bolton Abbey and that's why everything cost a fortune. Yes lovely place some lovely walks and the coffee was ok. The toilets though are a distance away from the cafe which if your disabled is a long walk away.
