We dined-in (the Wife, Grandson and I) early Thursday evening. We were the only one's there so full-on attention. Curries, bhajis, mixed grill, rice and poppadoms... Good quality and tasty - all washed down with drinks. The look of the restaurant is tired/dated but the food was good. If we return to the area for another break then we would return.
Great food, great service and great takeaway deals to be had! Ordered for collection via just eat, food was excellent with very generous portions and the staff could not be more polite or welcoming. Definitely worth a visit, would undoubtedly visit again for takeaway or sit in.
I popped in here on the off chance I may get a decent "Indian" as I am fed up with overpriced food with sauces from a jar etc.
The starters were nice,Onion Bhaji freshly cooked *NOT* precooked and then reheated and very tasty as was the chicken Pakora in a light batter.
The Chicken Kalia and Chicken Bombay were nicely presented and tasted really good as was the Coconut rice,I know I am now being fussy but the Garlic Nan I would have preferred thinner .
Overall it was a nice meal and good service so I will go back
