We ate at the Seymour last week. The new menu is fantastic (the lemon sole was amazing) and has good variety. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. My brother has also recently stayed in the Seymour’s rooms when he visited Blagdon. They are clean and beautifully presented. Fab breakfasts too. Overall, highly recommended and a great base to explore the Mendips!

We’ve lived in the village for just under a decade and seem a couple of changes in management over that time. Had Sunday lunch yesterday; first meal under the new management. Hands down the best food we’ve had there. Would highly recommend.

I visited the Seymour arms the other day and was greeted by amazing customer service by the brilliant staff who were so friendly and were eager to help me with any issues I had the food was also incredible and I think fairly priced for the amount you get all of the staff were amazing such as James who I believe is the owner and then the two servers fern and aiden who were incredible. Would recommend 10/10 will definitely be coming again and bringing people with me
