Went to Sam's yesterday 16th May with ten friends and my wife to celebrate her birthday. A warm welcome as usual from Sam and the staff, who after serving drinks, helped us chose dishes according to our various tastes.
The food (which arrived quickly) and service were excellent. The helpings were so generous that nobody had room for puddings, we did however find room for the complimentary coffee and brandy. Well done Sam--we will see you again soon.
I had a meal last night with friends at Sams .as usual the food was first class. When you think there was 11 of us the service was brilliant, the food piping hot. Sam always makes you welcome, if you wont to alter a dish a bit hotter or had something Sam is always willing to do it.as his food is prepare from scratch and fresh he can. See you soon Sam

Sam goes the extra mile, his food is beautiful, he's brilliant with children. We are not just his customers, we're all treated like his friends. He deserves a medal for putting up with and looking after everybody for so many years

Went as a group of four, arriving at 6:45pm early July. I have to say the food itself was superb, but the service was amongst the slowest I have ever come across, and to make it worse people who arrived after we did were given the order-taker's attention before us, which left us waiting more than half an hour, and actually eating more than one hour after arrival.
Wouldn't like to go there when it's busy if that is anything to go by!

Amazing just found my new fav Indian.. And surprisingly my other half could not pick one fault.. Food was hot generous amounts will deffo recommend!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could..
