Lovely historic building built in 1941 as a winter garden and sun lounge, offering a pleasant space for patrons to relax after a round of golf on the accompaying putting green. With it's large windows overlooking the green on one side and a sea view on the other patrons were able to enjoy the seaside without having to brave weather. Originally costing £9,929 to complete, then falling into a state of disrepair over the years, today is owned by the council having undergone restoration and regeneration, we have a building housing various offices, training centre and a lovely cafe at the rear of the building.
Normally go here for work meetings. Cafe is reay good. Food is great and always busy. Seating areas outside. Lots of people with kids as they have a play area for them. Lots of people in the Cafe with dogs which is lovely to see.
I go here every day to walk my dog..sometimes pop into the cafe for a meal or drink ...its a lovely place to go ..also has area for children to play ...also has parking
