It was a typical Sunday for a carvery . Its my first visit and we went on recommendation.
It was very busy and we had to wait 15 mins for a table. Not sure if this was typical but it was the first Sunday after payday. The queue for the carvery had about 20 people before us and we were dealt with in a timely manner. Meat was good Ham Turkey and Beef. The veg was varied and plentiful with the gravy and condiments at the end.
The veg was cooked well and not soggy if only lukewarm despite the heaters.
On the whole a nice experience and you can tell by my plate I left with a full tum.

Overall, id say Plum Tree is a fantastic choice for families looking for a memorable dining experience. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces, making it a place we'll definitely visit again. 5*
We use this pub frequently and we're a big fan of the carvery and cakeaway. Recently, we got married and asked these guys to make our wedding cake. We had a tonne left over and it even freezes and defrosts well! Staff can be hard to pin down, but are all very helpful when you can grab them. Full cakes are very affordable, if you're catering for a special event- thoroughly recommend.
