The food here is superb....attention to detail by the kitchen staff. Every mouthful was lovely, the were staff polite and attentive. The only downside is the table we were sat at...table 9, its at the bottom of the stairs, in front of the kitchen and beside the bar, so I felt I was nearer the kitchen than in a restaurant.
It's a rare night out without the kids and a birthday treat, so a little disappointed on the table setting.
I mentioned the seating to the staff, they said they are planning a refurb with new seating arrangements which may stop the use of the table.
All in all the food easily made up for the table, the chicken livers were the best I have ever tasted,..... It's definitely worth a visit. ! Would recommend
