Leaving 3 stars because the boba is nice, but the lady with the open straight hair needs to have better customer service skills.
I went in and the lady did not acknowledge me and my friends.
Literally the whole time we were there she did not try to engage or even smile, she was in a mood and didn't even look at us.
I paid for 3 boba teas (2 chocolates and 1 dirty brown sugar) and 1 popping juice ( I may be off with the names) and then noticed lady was putting in really less tapioca and then I was told off and was told that I came late and they're closing at half 10 and that there's no tapioca left. I responded that there's no opening/closing times on Google, which was not acknowledged. If there was no tapioca left then she should have told me before I paid, I would ahve just left and gone elsewhere. I went home and my tapioca was all stuck and super chewy and I wasn't able to bite it, I had to throw it away.
A few times before my husband went and it was fine and tasty, which is why I took my friends to treat them.
I was upset as the worker should have just told me it's late and there's no tapioca left and what's left isn't edible.
I was very upset as I spent alot of money on just milk with barely any edible tapioca.
I hope that the one staff member can be trained on how to greet customers and make them feel welcome as our experience was horrible.
****UPDATE****
I've changed the low ⭐ rating to 5 stars because, I went in recently and I was met with a lovely girl named Sabra.
She was the total opposite of the girl mentioned above. She was so pleasant, smiled the whole time and very kindand bubbly. She asked me about my day, kept a good conversation going, meanwhile she made my boba tea. She seemed genuinely happy to see me and this is how exceptional customer service should be. Also she made my boba so nice👌. I had the chocolate boba and it was the best I had at naughty boba in all the times I've been before.
Well done! for taking comments onboard and hiring staff who actually know how to respect customers. Thank you Sabra for the amazing boba tea, you honestly made my evening, hope your boss knows what a diamond he/she has amongst their staff.
This used to be my go to Boba shop but now it’s not. The other day I went in and asked the one of the employees is that strawberry lemonade and she said “no it’s something else” so I proceeded to ask again and she pomegranate spritz.
Like who gate keeps a damn drink. You’re supposed to encourage your customers to want to buy it not hide what you’re drinking. I’m sorry but Naughtea Boba has gotten down hill and I go now go to bubble street cuz the people there are respectful and polite.
One of the best bubble tea joints I’ve been to compared to all the ones I’ve tried in Central London. The Service was great and the recommendation of the Dirty Brown Sugar 🧋from the staff was amazing. I’d highly suggest that and the Crème Brûlée.🧋 It was amazing!
