Been coming here for so many years. It used to be called Sir Harry's before.
Ordered the lunch time box meal box. Amazing fresh chips. Cod fresh was fresh and piping hot.
Customer service was very good and the young lady was very polite.
Very reasonably priced and decent sized portions. It's also halal which is brilliant.
Always wondered what this place was like on a non matchday and can easily recommend. A good chippy! A monster cod that was freshly cooked and superb quality. Batter was light and crispy and tasted great. Chips were pretty decent and dipped in a lovely curry sauce. Around £11 which is the average price now.
Amazing staff, Tayla was very attentive to me as soon as I walked in....I previously walked out of a chip shop due to bad service, I did leave them a review. This on the other hand was very different. So much on the menu Tayla explained everything and I got my food and left very satisfied, would definitely visit again.
We really loved visiting this place. A friend referred us to never leave Birmingham without eating their food. And they did not disappoint.
Perfect chippy! Excellent food and great friendly service, but the best thing is the battered chips! When I've had battered chips before (at other chippy's) they tasted amazing but I've always felt a little sick before finishing them as they are so rich, these chips are only lightly battered so you don't get that sickly feeling.
Loved it, highly recommended.

The best fish and chips and chicken I have eat in all UK. Super prices. Friendly staff and fast service. Five stars is not enough for this shop.
Absolutely loved going here. When customer service seems to be a thing of the past the staff here have restored my faith in humans. Great people great food 100% recommend 👍
Saw the shops promotion online so thought I’d pop in for a visit on Friday, the food was very nice, service was quick and the member of staff who served us (Michelle or something similar to that) was extremely helpful and got our large order perfect!
Will definitely be back next Friday!!

Some of the best fish and chips in Birmingham. Love you have have mixed chips, half battered, half normal. Very welcome addition. Location is great too, near cricket grounds/Canonhill Park.
This is the first time I’ve used this establishment and it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done! The food was amazing but the customer service was unreal! The lady who served me was Michelle and she was just so nice and friendly…I will definitely be coming back
After a busy day working as health professional I came across this chip shop , the island house , service was fast , premises was very clean , staff where friendly and welcoming and they where more then happy to apply my blue light discount to my order ( they pointed out that I could use my blue light card , I was unaware) which saved me money which definitely helps .
I cannot Recommend this chip shop enough , food was delicious, cooked fresh and staff were lovely !!

Went a couple of days ago and before going in was really worried as I have server anxiety and struggle to order food sometimes. However Michelle served me and was super patient with me, this means a lot and I’ll definitely be back knowing that such great people work here!!!!!
Served by Michelle, she was such a superstar, talking me through the different options for my dietary requirements and making sure to add plenty of salt and pepper just the way I like it! The manager Stef was also there and had friendly way about him, will be back!

2nd time I’ve had food from here, was spot on both times. Chips were lovely and excellent customer service from the staff, Michelle if I remember correctly, very welcoming. Would 100% recommend !
