Urban Breakfast - Birmingham - Photo album

Dropped in to this place for coffee and a catch up with work on my laptop. Ended up staying for lunch. Really friendly staff, great atmosphere, great coffee and fantastic food. Can highly recommend the mashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough. Amazing!
Great place to visit, whether it's just for a coffee or for meal. We had both. Coffee with a pastry and some brunch. Great food. Quality ingredients and tasty. Good atmosphere with a nice interior decor. Friendly service. Can be a delay on food at the busiest times. We had the urban breakfast and eg
What a lovely jewel!!! Vegan options were outstanding! Fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere enhanced with the great service from Tanya ✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @mydogmouse - TikTok Mouse was most welcomed ✨❤️✨🥰✨❤️
Visited for coffee and gluten free cake (they always have a couple of options). As I’m not gluten free I ended up ordering the chorizo, avocado, chilli jam and fried egg bap, but as a hater (yes a hater) of brioche I asked if there was an alternative. I had it with sourdough toast and OH MY WORD it
Lovely food, really nice place- it’s clearly quite popular though so the staff are very busy which did result in a slightly “rushed” service - everyone very pleasant though, I think it could just do with a few more members of staff and some better training 💚 really good veggie options, dog friendly
I had the pleasure of having lunch at Urban Cafe and I must say, their food is absolutely delicious and the service is alright. However, there's one aspect that left me a bit puzzled the additional charge for oat and soya milk options. These milk alternatives are vital for individuals like myself wh
Lovely food, lovely coffee, surprisingly decent prices for Birmingham. Service was reasonably quick for a busy Saturday afternoon, staff were really friendly. The poached eggs in particular were outstanding! Only criticism I can say is that the chairs indoors are not designed to accommodate the ba
Service with a smile, decent-sized menu for a relatively small cafe. Only dropped a star because portions are very small and prices are steep!
Great coffee and food, although be wary going on weekend - it can be very busy. Absolutely perfect for a spot of brunch when shopping around Jewelry Quarter.
Love this place! I would ask however that they stop charging more for decaf coffee. I have heart issues and I’d love to be able to enjoy a good cup of coffee without paying extra for the privilege of not getting palpitations. Great staff and vibe all in all though.
The last full week of #eatouttohelpout is here. A good time to try new independents and eateries 😊 Starting off the morning with some breakfast, I popped to this local cafe only a short walk away from me as drove past it for a while but never been in. Urban has 3 venues but this is the closest to me
All you can expect from the typical café bar with a better coffee selection than your typical Starbucks/Nero/Costa. The food was decent enough for a quick bite in the morning. I ordered a V60 filtered coffee, which was great—definitely, a place to grab a coffee when around.
This was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. Modern decor with a nice atmosphere and good staff. It was very busy so the service was a bit slow - but that was understandable. There was a good selection on the menu. I had a mouthwatering bacon and sausage bun. Definitely worth a visit.
We had an experience that started not too great, but got better thanks to the lovely staff. It was full when we arrived, and it was hard to find a table. After sitting down we did have to wait for our table to be cleaned and ended up clearing it ourselves so we could sit, but it was sticky still, so
It was a nice place to go for lunch as they have a spacious setup, that is well decorated for dine-in. However they are slightly more expensive than I would expect. The food was well made and the pastry was delicious but the staff was not so friendly.
Stopped here for a quick lunch - we got the soup of the day which was butternut squash and carrot (£5.95). The soup was really tasty and came with a lovely big slice of crusty bread. However we waited for over 30 minutes for this. The menu looks good but on the pricier side - slices of cake for £4
