Came here prior to going to a concert at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.
Checked out the menu and we went upstairs to the restaurant.
The restaurant was cosy and warm with a relaxing ambiance.
The waiters were all dressed in matching uniforms and, though they were willing to spend time chatting and having some banter. MJ and his colleagues kept up a professional attitude.
We ordered lamb laziz lohari and a chicken dhansak. Cooked to perfection, flavoursome and amazing.
To summarise, this restaurant is fantastic, the great service and amazing food is a package to be enjoyed. This is now our favourite Indian restaurant in this area of Birmingham.
Beautiful dining facility that exuded warmth and comfort. The food quality was exceptional, with each dish bursting with amazing flavors that showcased the authentic taste of India. The portion sizes were also very generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience memorable. Moreover, the restaurant's location near the canals was absolutely fantastic, offering a picturesque view from the window that added to the overall charm of the place.
Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night on a solo trip with work. Was quickly shown to a table.
I ordered the chicken jalfrezi with a garlic naan and onion bhajis with a pint of Cobra and a coke.
The Jalfrezi and bhajis were very good, the bread was great but could have done with some ghee or melted butter with the garlic which was diced on top.
The waiters and service were good and there’s a nice view over the canal if you’re lucky enough to get the right table.
It came to around £30, which I think was good value.
