Bun & Steak Birmingham

I remember it being a cold rainy Sunday evening; my mood wasn't the greatest and my stomach empty. The only thing that could possibly cheer me up was some good quality grub. Armed with my winter coat and knitted hat, I set off on my escapade; little did I know that I was to stumble on possibly one of the greatest food joints I had ever been to. There was ample parking available outside meaning I could park right outside the shop. As I entered I received a very warm welcome from the very lovely waiting staff and was quickly sat down. From the before mentioned reception I had just received coupled with the splendid décor, my mood had already improved exponentially and I had not eaten any food just yet! Having a first glance at the menu I had noticed that the pricing was very reasonable and exactly what I'd like to pay for a decent steak. Having ordered a medium rare sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce, it took under 20 minutes for me to receive my food and boy was I mesmerized with what had just been presented to me. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Every bite that entered my mouth was inconceivable; how can something taste so good? I normally don’t order sauce with my steak but on this occasion the peppercorn sauce was literally to die for. I was beginning to get upset as the contents of my plate were slowly diminishing. Inevitably my plate had finally become clear and what a meal it was indeed. As I got up to leave the manager himself came to say goodbye and I couldn’t express to him in words how ecstatic I was to have eaten here. He thanked me for my kind words but I couldn’t thank him enough for the experience I just had. Bun & Steak, what a fantastic addition to the Birmingham food industry.

The chilli bun was the best burger I've had from Birmingham. Would recommend this place to everyone! Top service alongside top food. Definitely going to be a regular here.
