We visited as we had received a virgin experience gift for the restaurant. The voucher menu was a reduced menu with 3 options for starter, mains and desserts. The starter was tomato and basil soup which was really nice and mains were vegan Pomodoro linguine which was lacking flavour and the butchers steak with chips which was quite small but ok. Drinks were also nice.
Staff were very friendly but don’t think I’d go back again even with the full menu as choices are still quite limited. It’s a nice atmosphere if you just want to grab cocktails.
Great food and excellent service. It loses points because I was charged for a window seat, but did not know there would be a charge (I would have paid anyway, so not a huge deal). However, I was disappointed that they were out of roast lamb and had no draft beers. Despite these issues I would still recommend.
I had calamari for starters and tempura prawns for mains with onion rings and both were excellent, as was the service
Super location, fantastic views, great, unobtrusive service and fantastic food - my steak was amazing, my wife's main super too.
Not cheap (my steak £38) but not London style extortionate, either.
