Staff are very friendly and professional. Dishes are very well prepared and cooked. Managed to reserve a table for two under the almond tree. Tiger prawn was fresh and sweet, garnished with a base of tangy and slight bitter tomato base that enhances the natural sweetness of the crustacean. Pork Belly was roasted tender with crispy crackling, drizzled in onion gravy complemented with fresh, pure sweet and sour apple puree. Chicken breast was pan seared moist with crispy skin, seasoned with salt that brings out the bird's sweet afternote. Served on top of gorgeously creamy fresh mushy peas and charred asparagus.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Legna. The restaurant looks absolutely beautiful. Very stylish and well layed out. The service was great from start to finish as well. Food was very good. The lobster pasta I had as a starter was very tasty and my cod which I had as a main superbly cooked. I will sure visit again.

A perfect day with perfect company deserves a perfect ending at a perfect restaurant and that came in the form of Legna. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door we were greeted with the warmest of smiles and wittiest of waiters. What a pleasure. After running a little late from a concert at the Arena, my wife and I had already prepared our order in our hotel room prior to the concert so all that remained was a recommendation of wine to compliment our dishes, and it did so wonderfully. The dishes were cooked to perfection, the staff knowledgeable and attentive and seemed to appear from nowhere when the glasses began to run low. Can't wait to return, but more so... wish we hadn't had to leave to begin with.

Fantastic food and cocktails, attentive service. Recommended ( although the tiramisu was a disappointment to say the least )

Almost a fine dining experience but at an affordable price. The food we had was fantastic, the decor is beautiful, and the staff are all friendly and attentive. Aktar was even there and spared the time to say hi and have a quick chat with us. We'll definitely be returning.

Altar Islam has made Birmingham a foodies Mecca. The latest addition, Legna, is a phenomenon. It, like its sibling Opheem, pushes the boundaries of the whole eating experience. When the details are this fine grain, it’s not just a sit, smash and pay. It is a fine dining admiration, absorption and reflection. Sure, it’s finding its feet in its first week. When the staff do find their step I can sense the customer service will be seamless. Nevertheless, front of house is professional, warm and courteous. Serving staff are friendly and chatty. The food is beautiful, Italian in format and delicate. Whatever you try from the menu you cannot go wrong. For big eaters the sumptuous lamb with a couple of sides will keep you full for the evening. For those meat eaters with a lighter appetite, the bewitching bolognese with bring a smile to your lips. The interior pushes the boundaries the most. It is a harmony of nature meets grandeur with a dose of neon lights to set it off. The bar area, open to view, is magnificent. It is like looking at the bright lights of Las Vegas, but with a smidgeon more sophistication. With the addition of Legna to Birmingham’s blossoming fine dining restaurant scene, it introduces a welcome problem. There are now far too many good food places to recommend, with more to come in the coming months!
