It was a quick stop for an early supper but my oh my, this was worth that stop.
We came right when they were just opening. Service and food was excellent. Highly attentive service, overall it was very enjoyable.
Will definitely return again! :)
It was bleak. The wind howled and the rain fettered. In the warmth of Resorts World lay Andy Water’s unassuming restaurant.
As I entered I was warmly welcomed by the well presented staff. They kindly offered to take my luggage and see me to my seat. The upmarket, comfortable, clean setting resounded as I was led to my table. As I sat looking at the menu I felt at ease. The dishes were British and the format simple, 2 courses £30 or 3 for £39. I chose the latter; in addition to the 3 courses I was presented with a celeriac soup and amuse bouche of assorted breads. The 3 courses were beautifully presented and served with care by the salt of the earth Birmingham serving staff.
The food was delicious, the pick of which was the dessert. The peanut parfait is arguably the finest dessert I have eaten, textures range from crunch of the biscuit to the crack of the caramelise butter to the to softness smoothness of the caramel. A tour de force dish.
This is fine dining value, delivered attentively. Loved it.
Good food and reasonably priced.
