I gave it 4* as it was cold in the room as they turned the heating off at night and only put one radiator on before we arrived. It was a listed building with single glazed windows and high ceilings. It needs the heating on all the time to keep the place warm. They provided blankets for us for the second night. The hotel is beautiful.

Came on the 5th of may for my engagement , blown away by the beauty of the place so peaceful , lovely people who looked after us and the gardens , so gorgeous and relaxing , if you want a relaxing break in a beautiful place ,this place is perfect ,

Because I'm disabled and no lift got the box room, for the low shower Reason for low room score, also no cooked breakfast or bar open. I know it's not high season, but repeat customers stem from times like these. Would return
