We arrived in the week and prior to seating down they let us know there was a significant amount of food from the menu not available.
There was still enough to have a good selection , and make the trip a worth while. They gave us a complimentary drink on the house. The manager and the team looked after us and couldn’t ask for more. I can’t remember their names but I would have given them a mention.
Food arrived nice and warm and there wasn’t a long wait to get our food.

Brilliant service, very friendly staff, food and drink reasonably priced. I went for the mixed grill and upgraded to the 8oz steak. Mrs went for the chicken and mushroom pie, kids chose double burger and a margarita pizza.
The mixed grill was a bit of a disappointment. I was expecting it to be a challenge to finish but the gammon and chicken pieces were very small. The steak was cooked perfectly and the two eggs that accompanied the grill were perfectly runny (just the way I like them). The mixed grill also came with two fairly averaged sized sausages, chips and a few onion rings. All in all, I don't think I would order it again.
The other dishes were value for money; the chicken and mushroom pie was huge and the gravy that accompanied it was really nice, having almost a sweet yet savoury taste to it. The double burger looked nice and juicy and the kid's margarita pizza was easily finished but I think that's a reflection on how hungry we all were.
All in all, the food was reasonably priced, soft drinks a little on the expensive side but bottomless, and we were seated in a well suitable location (big table as we had loads of bags with us from shopping in Bicester).
A huge thank you to the staff who accommodated us and seated us where they did. Next time I am shopping in Bicester this will be my go to place for food!
On this visit everything was really good. Food was lovely and service very good. They looked understaffed, but all staff were on the ball and we had a lovely time.
