Quills is a small café situated directly opposite the front of Beverley railway station. The décor is quirky and fun. It serves home-made food and drinks. You need to remember that the type of salads, sandwiches, toasties and cakes will vary from day to day but there is a good choice of all these. I tried and thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate brownie. There is also a good range of coffees and teas. I tried the former: excellent tasting coffee with plenty of hot milk at a reasonable price. I noted that shakes were available at £1.45 but I opted for a fruit smoothie which was refreshing and delicious at a cost of £3. The service was friendly and very efficient. All in all, Quills is well worth a visit.
It is certainly worth a visit for coffee and cakes. What hits you on entry is the extensive array of delicious looking and tasty cakes and pastries. We were really spoilt for choice! I had the very satisfying Rocky Robin although, as you might expect, it is a bit sweet. My daughter loved the Bakewell Tart too.
WIFI is available so look out for the code displayed prominently within the café. Great for a cuppa and a cake!
Called in for coffee with Oscar (dog friendly cafe), enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely go back and sample what is on offer food wise; it looks good.

A quirky spot for excellent coffee and a nice atmosphere. Quills had a great vibe. The vibrant seating featured plenty of charging spots.
Unfortunately, it seems this establishment has remained dormant for years. It still appears to be in a state of temporarily closed. I don't believe I have seen any for sales signs yet, so who knows what the future holds.
