Visited Dower House Coffee today with my boyfriend for our anniversary for the first time and was not disappointed! Will definitely be looking to return in the future. We had a caramel brownie, almond croissant and hot chocolates and I honestly couldn't fault them whatsoever, the brownie that I had was especially yummy. They also had milk alternatives for those who need it.
The building itself is really cute and I like the way that the cafe is split into different rooms so there is a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. The space is also decorated very nicely and I like the aesthetic. The staff are very polite and friendly which made our experience today even better too. I can see there are a couple of negative reviews on here but I would not be put off. The staff I encountered today are very helpful and would be willing to accommodate additional needs where possible (such as access) and we really should be supporting small businesses such as this whenever we can.
Keep up the amazing work guys :)
Being an Australian and coming from Melbourne it is hard to find good quality coffee, but this place has not disappointed.
I’ve tried iced and hot coffee’s and both have been amazing. I’m not local, but I wish I was because this coffee beats the pants of anything you find in London.
I will say the service, although good could be more attentive to outside. A couple of times I have sat outside for 45 minutes to an hour, thinking about another coffee and no one has come to the table to clear the empty glass or ask if I would like another coffee
Went to this establishment quite late in the day, but the staff still showed very nice and warm welcomes to us. They have a lot of bakery items on offer, but be sure to get there earlier than we did as its quite popular. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a chilled vibe in a nice place fir coffee with a friend of partner
