Temple on Sunday night provided us with the best meal we have had all year. We live down south and were visiting Belfast for the weekend. Our friend who lives nearby brought us to Temple for our dinner on Sunday night as we were going to the club opposite it afterwards to meet up with his friends and have a few drinks.
Temple has EVERYTHING going for it. Its homely and beautifully decorated and laid out, it has the friendliest staff I have ever come across, a massively extensive menu and drinks selection, and in my opinion a brilliant chef and kitchen team who know just HOW to present food in lovely way.
None of us had starters as we were saving ourselves for dessert but there was a brilliant choice if we had opted for starters. Our friends had pork belly, my husband had roast beef and I had one of the most tasty rib eye steaks I have ever had as our main courses. The chips, side orders etc were presented in little baskets which I really love. We all had cider and beers and the staff could NOT have been nicer. It was a bit of a trek downstairs to the rest rooms but they were spotlessly clean.
Desserts were yummy so much choice but we had the pavalova. Every single person who works in Temple should take a well deserved bow as its an absolute gem of a restaurant in every way. GO THERE when you are in Belfast You wont be disappointed
Really enjoyed the experience with you, went with family, the food service and staff were lovely, lovely place to go.
