This is a one Micheline star restaurant, and is well deserving. We were able to get reservations through our friend who was very persistent in checking. Our reservation was for 6 pm which seemed it was good as we were ahead of the rush. The service was exceptional. It seemed the entire restaurant was taking care of us, even though we had a main server. The food came in seven courses and we were treated to two desserts!!! Each of the courses was accompanied with a nicely paired wine, and the portions were very decent and likely more than what one would get in similar situations in the states. My favorite plate was the first appetizer and the scallops, which had a flavor I have never tasted before. But in general all other courses were super elevated and flavor above average to anything one would get around. The one thing I would suggest is that for a high end experience, there should not be a time limit, or at least that time limit should not be 2 hours. Nonetheless, this is an amazing place and an experience that has opened my eyes to realize Belfast is a culinary center with amazing potential.
The Food aesthetic good, as well as the taste. Moreover the services was just amazing, staff beyond friendly, cozy atmosphere, but for a fact what stood out for me was the Services.
I didn’t let them know in advance that I don’t feel comfortable eating rabbit or red meat, and the stuff was okay and acted rapidly to get it changed for other dish of my taste. Which made me very happy.
Well done.
This was a fantastic experience. It was a 6 course tasting menu. Everything was just beautiful from the start to the very last dish. The wait staff and sommelier were all excellent. Fine dining with an industrial feel. Not super fancy which was appreciated.
Super Super Super!
