We've been in for a quiet/light evening meal of tapas & red wine, and also with a large group of people, and enjoyed both visits very much. The staff are lovely, very friendly & accommodating & coped admirably when there were a lot of us (thank you, James, Sam and Emily, we applaud you)!
The tapas were delicious on both occasions with good vegetarian options, and the place is very inviting, some nice cosy armchairs & low tables as well as larger tables. Good choice of wines. Delicious little crispy Italian pastries. There's lots more food options, but these are our "tried & tested"!
Lovely place, informal yet stylish, and very welcoming. We'll be back!
A quaint little place in a quaint little village. Perfect relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great food, great wine and great prices compared to local pubs! The only place to spend an evening (or a day drinking coffee for that matter!) in beer.
Lovely relaxed bar with very friendly staff who couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. Not a place where you feel hurried to eat and leave but more a laid back feeling and I stayed awhile eating my tapas and supping a very nice Pinot Noir. Well worth a visit for wines , coffees/teas or food or all of these. A great find while on a business/holiday trip. If I return to Beer again, I'll be back.
