I have used this place a few times for a quick sandwich as I occasionally work 10 minutes away, and remembered that their sandwich s are the best for miles around, on this occasion I drove there for an early lunch as I was in the area. This place is consistently busy but after waiting a short while we got seated. Service was really good. Staff was very pleasant. Food was fresh and of very good quality. You can tell locals used this place a lot and that might have something to do with the many greats of this place, there are lots of choice on the menu. This place is also well-known for its fish and chips.

INSANELY INCREDIBLE fish and chips. Like beyond your expectations. The chips are perfectly cooked and the batter on the fresh white as snow fish is not just the most tasty I have ever had, but the most perfectly crisp. The best fish and chips I have ever tasted. It is worth the 3 hour journey from Leicester just for my mouth to experience that wonder again.

Stopped here for breakfast on the August bank holiday. Place was already pretty full when we arrived at 9.45. Wonderful freshly cooked food, generous portions but not cheap. Quick efficient and friendly service. Strongly recommended.
